In my function as Creative Director and Curator of the Andrew and Laura McCain Artwork Gallery, I am dedicated not only to supplying a professional venue for art and artists but also to offering varied and enjoyable visual artwork packages to the neighborhood.
Coming up subsequent is an exhibition of botanical functions by Barbara Safran de Niverville opening July 10 and opening July 24 will be a collection of authentic artists’ masks from the Beaverbrook. Starting up August 28, the exhibition Currents brings the art of Deanna Musgrave, Amy Ash and Nienke Izurieta to the gallery and that will be adopted this slide by a celebration of the art of just one of Carleton county’s very best flower painters, Irene Tompkins.
For individuals who like their art in the new air, the Gallery has collaborated with the City of Florenceville-Bristol to build a Public Art Programme for the city and have set up five general public art parts to date.
Reflections, a collaborative mural painted by Mike McEwan and location college students can be observed previously mentioned the entrance doorway of the River Artwork Centre. Artist residencies provide artists into our neighborhood to enrich us all and the spring 2021 artist in residence was Renata Britez. Her exhibition Naturalis will be up at the Gallery right up until July 17, 2021.
